The Foundation's Objectives
The Romanian Horses In Distress Foundation wants to help workhorses and stray horses in Romania. We want to achieve our objectives by raising funds that can support the projects meant to improve the well-being of the Romanian horses. The foundation will partly function as a link to existing foreign initiatives. In addition, the foundation attempts to start its own projects because little is done at the moment for the horses.
Due to this approach we, as a group, are able to raise funds in the Netherlands for several projects, the continuity of which will be ensured by us. The projects supported by the Romanian Horses In Distress Foundation include:
1. Offering free medical emergency aid.
2. Educational activities with regard to how to take care of horses.
3. Taking care of stray horses.
4. Providing horse owners who take good or reasonable good care of their horses with free horse shoes.
5. Influencing politics on local and national level.
